Recitals

Links: OneDrive

Ah, performing! The very foundation for all dance, and the ultimate goal for every dancer.

All of our students, staff and parent volunteers have a great time putting on three recitals every year. Each recital is different, but all are a great experience for students to show everyone what they have been working so hard on each year.

The Spring Recital

The big recital at the end of the school year where students get to perform all of the steps they have been learning that school year. There are lights, props, sets, flowers, desserts, costumes, tickets, the whole shebang! We pick a fun theme and use that to decorate the stage, the lobby, the whole auditorium, and of course the kids in their cute, sparkly costumes, make for an amazing experience for the whole family. Many extended family members come in to town just for this twonight experience that brings out the best in all of our students.

The Summer Showcase

Summer relaxing meets summer performing! We put on one small, relaxed showcase for summer students to perform what they have been working on. It's a great way to bring the family together, without all of the stress of costumes and four month preparation. The summer showcase is a fun and encouraging way to get our students some performance experience before the bigger shows.

The Winter Recital

The mediumsized recital at the end of the year where students get to perform all the steps they have been learning since September, and get to gain even more performance experience before the big recital in Spring. Just like the Spring Recital, there are lights, props, sets, flowers, desserts, tickets and all. The big difference is that we do not order everyone the big costumes we get in Spring. We order smaller, cheaper costumes that are more affordable during the holiday season.

The kids of course still look adorable and professional while getting to show their whole family what they've been up to. It's a wonderful experience, and a great time to bring the family together.
