Miss Serenity

Director, Instructor

Miss Serenity has been teaching and choreographing for various events in Oregon for 13 years, and dancing across the United States for over 25 years. She has diverse and extensive training in a variety of forms including: ballet, pointe, classic, street and broadway tap, broadway jazz, musical theater, street, contemporary, latin, classic, Fosse, and Luigi jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, show, vaudeville, and flamenco.

Before moving to Oregon, she toured with a Rockette performance company in the Midwest for 5 years in which she had been given the honor of Captain for 3 consecutive years. She has performed in large line, small line, and many solo pieces at various local, state, and national competitions in several states including Oregon. She was cast and performed with the Russian Festival Ballet's Nutcracker (2004) tour, and was granted the honor and privilege of interning with a certified Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) instructor for 3 years before beginning her teaching career.

Since 2012, she has been training as much as possible in New York City, which is where she received an offer from Sue Samuels to pursue Broadway avenues, which she is currently balancing with the studio. She also had the amazing opportunity to train with some of the world's most famous dance professionals including the late Luigi, Mandy Moore, Deborah Vogel, Bob Rizzo, Finis Jhung, Mia Michaels, Denise Wall, Sheila Barker, Ashle Dawson, Justin Boccitto, Ray Hesselink, Richard Hines, Michael Mindlin, Chet Walker, and Randy Skinner while in NYC.

She loves teaching and is grateful for the opportunity to build a dance family here in Oregon that will carry on the dance traditions and values she grew up in.

Miss Bryn

Office Assistant, Instructor

Miss Bryn started dancing at the age of 3, and was lucky enough to use her training in combination with another passion, musical theater. She studied extensively with the Redmond Academy of Theatre Arts, where she performed in Guys and Dolls, Once on this Island, 13!, and Fame, to name a few favorites.

She is currently working towards a degree in Communication and Media at Willamette University. Along with running the office, Miss Bryn teaches musical theater at the studio and enjoys spreading her love of performing with Salem's budding stars.

Miss Breanne


Miss Breanne began dancing at the age of 5 in Tumwater, WA at Ballet Arts Olympia. In high school, she trained at Studio West Dance Academy in Olympia, WA where she received extensive training and performance experience in a variety of styles, such as ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, and hip-hop. She also has experience in musical theater and aerial. Breanne currently attends Willamette University, where she will be receiving a BA in biology and mathematics with a minor in chemistry. She is also very involved with the dance community at Willamette and has continued training and performing while in college. At Willamette she has had the opportunity to choreograph for Willamette Dance Company and the university’s theater department. Breanne currently teaches movement exploration, ballet, tap, lyrical, modern and jazz at the studio and hopes to share her passion and love of dance with all of her students.

Miss Alyssa

Office Representative, Instructor

Miss Alyssa began dancing at the age of 7. Since then, she has participated on various dance teams, with extensive training in hip hop, jazz, and contemporary. In 2012, her team won first place in the OSAA Dance and Drill State Championship. She was also given the exclusive honor of being chosen for the All-State team, and has been given opportunities to perform at various regional events.

Along with teaching hip hop and representing the office at Starr Studios, Miss Alyssa is attending Chemeketa Community College to further her educational career. She is glad to be able to use her dance training to teach, guide, and boost the confidence of her Starr Dancers.

Miss Natalie


Miss Natalie began dancing around the age of 3 in her home state of Colorado. Throughout her life she has studied ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, musical theatre, hip hop and more. She loves singing, dancing and acting, which she has been fortunate enough to combine in many musical productions, such as Cats (Victoria), Peter Pan (Peter), Once Upon a Mattress (Winifred), and The Secret Garden (Mary). She moved to Salem to attend Willamette University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Politics and French|Francophone Studies.

While in college, Natalie was part of the Willamette Dance Company and other performance groups. She loves to volunteer, travel, explore the outdoors, and spend time with her friends and family. She also LOVES animals — especially dogs and elephants! Natalie teaches Modern, Lyrical, Twirl & Twinkle, Ballet Boogie and Movin' and Groovin' at the studio. She is very excited to share her love and passion for dance with her students.
